BLACK STONE CHERRY - 'BAD HABIT' Brand new track from highly anticipated upcoming album!

BAD HABIT is the latest foot stomping track from everyone’s favourite blues n rollers, BLACK STONE CHERRY, the second to be lifted off highly anticipated upcoming album Family Tree, which is set for release on 20th April 2018 via Mascot Records

Family Tree boasts BSC’s tried-and-true lucky number with its 13 songs, and, like all BSC releases, features songwriting contributions from each member. The result is a modern and meaty blues-based rock album, with unexpected sonic twists like punchy horn sections, barrelhouse pianos, Southern gospel organ, atmospheric synthesizer passages, and forays into funk and country

Lead single Burnin’ saw huge pick up from the likes of Planet Rock Radio (A-list), Kerrang Radio (A-list), Total Rock Radio, dozens of regional ILRs, regional BBC stations as well as none other than a live to air appearance and performance on BBC Radio 2’s Michael Ball show on 04/03/2018

Check out Michael Ball in awe of the band on his BBC Radio 2 show right here on iPlayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09sm7qy  - where you can hear the guys chat away and perform fan favourite Like I Roll and roof-raising cover of Johnny Cash’s classic track Folsom Prison Blues

The new LP also sees two very special guest appearances – from jam band icon Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule), and BSC vocalist Chris Robertson’s five year old son

The quartet’s first three albums, Black Stone Cherry, Folklore & Superstition and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea have all been certified silver (60,000 copies) by the BPI – now encroaching on Gold status (100,000 sales).

No strangers to chart success, the band’s previous two albums Magic Mountain and Kentucky both landed at #5 in the UK Album Charts in 2014 and 2016 respectively

Black Stone Cherry return to UK shores this summer as direct support to Guns n Roses on Saturday 9th June at Download Festival

After years slogging it out on the road with a wide variety of bands such as ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Nickelback and Motorhead and building up solid and unwavering support, the band have twice packed out the famous Wembley Arena along with other arenas across the country.

Expect further exciting news from the Black Stone Cherry camp very soon…
